Jerry Smith
YORK -- Jerry M. Smith, 73, of York, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Agape Hospice in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eugene Feagin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church parlor.
Jerry was a son of the late John M. Smith and Louise Ashe Smith. Jerry graduated York High School in 1957. He joined the US Airforce and enjoyed a career of 28 years before retiring. Jerry served many places during his time in the US Airforce and was very proud of his military service. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in York, and was the widower of Ann Killian Smith.
He is survived by son Eddie Smith of Charlotte, NC, and brother, Rodney Smith and wife Pam of York, SC. In addition to his wife and parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter Tracy Smith and brother, John Smith.
