SHARON -- Jeffrey Neal "Goat" Mathis, 64, of 3045 Creek View Road died Friday, April 4, 2014, at his home in Sharon.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home.
Mr. Mathis was a son of Bobbie Jo Beaty Turner and the late Homer Mathis. He was retired from Westinghouse in Charlotte, and was a veteran of the US Army. .
He is survived by his mother Bobbie Jo Turner of Sharon, SC, daughters, Martie Lynn Mathis of McConnells, SC, Melissa Mathis of York, SC, Tracie Annette Mathis of Hickory Grove, SC, brothers, Carroll Mathis of Sharon, SC, Tim Mathis of Guntown, MS, sisters, Kim James of Darlington, SC, Lynda Hutchkiss of Pensecola, FL, and grandchildren, Hunter Oliver, Thomas Oliver, Dillon Chambers, Brooke Chambers, and Brandon Rabon.
