YORK -- Jeffrey "Jeff" Thomas Dawkins, 54, of York passed away Friday, January 15, 2016, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Emily Sutton officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 1 - 2 PM at Bratton Funeral Home.
Jeff was a son of Joyce Sowell McElveen and the late John M. Dawkins. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Rock Hill.
Jeff is survived by mother Joyce McElveen of York, SC, wife Carol Shipton Dawkins of York, SC, daughters, Jennifer D. Hefner of McConnells, SC, Jessica Dawkins of Rock Hill, SC, sister Jaye Grayson of Sharon, SC, brothers, Joel Dawkins of Rock Hill, SC, Matthew McElveen of Gainesville, FL, and grandson Damien Hefner.
