Jean Carroll McCarter, 73, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at her home in Clover.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Oakdale Presbyterian Church with Dr. Barry Eller officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home of daughter, Marie McCarter-Frohna, 589 Morning Glory Court, Clover, SC 29710.
Born October 21, 1944 in York, SC, Jean was a daughter of the late Roy Carroll and Lucille Wallace Carroll. She was a retired decorator, a member of Oakdale Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Clover Chapter of the Eastern Star.
Jean is survived by her husband Wylie T. McCarter, daughter, Marie McCarter – Frohna (Matt), grandson, Wylie Glenn McCarter, and sisters, Brenda Sprouse (Earl), Kathy Comer (Sam), and Mykie Anderson (Mitch). In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her brother Neil Carroll.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the team of Healthy@Home and Hospice and Community Care for their care and support of Jean.
