Jean Davis Fletcher 77, of Gastonia, N.C. passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
A funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 22, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church in York, S.C. with Pastor Billy Lingerfelt
officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 on Friday at the church. Burial will be 2PM, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls, N.C.
Jean was born April 23, 1943 in St. Pauls, N.C. to the late Albert Carl Davis and Fannie Victoria Willoughby Davis.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in York, S.C. and was married to the late Gary Sullivan Fletcher, Sr.
Jean is survived by daughters, Deloris Jean Fletcher, Rhonda Kay Lingerfelt (Billy), son, Gary Sullivan Fletcher, Jr. (Alicia), sisters, Jessie Bowser (Dave), Annie Mae McGhee (Lonzo), 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Albert Lee Davis “Dink” (Margaret), Tom Davis (Merle), Paul Davis (Flora) and Billy Davis.
