Jane Sandifer Brown, 84, of York passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at White Oak Manor in York.
A graveside service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Cemetery Street, York, SC. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Jane was a daughter of the late William Green Sandifer, Sr. and Pearle Hayes Sandifer. She was a graduate of York High School and attended Winthrop College. Jane was a member of First Presbyterian Church in York, and was the widow of James Hugh “Shug” Campbell, Sr., and Arnold Eugene Brown, Sr.
Jane is survived by daughters, Sissy Mayfield (Stokes), Rinne Rogers (Will), step children, Robbie Miller (Bill), Matt Brown (Kathy), and Liz Brown, sister, Elizabeth Ann Inman, brother, Dr. Bill Sandifer (Patsy), seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her son Jimmy Campbell and sister Sis Johnson.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs of Westminster Towers, White Oak Manor York, and Hospice and Community Care, for the care and support that they showed Jane and her family.
