Don Slack Sharon James Donald Slack, 77, died Friday, November 18, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday November 21, 2011, at Olivet Presbyterian Church. Rev. John McArthur will be officiating. Burial will be at Olivet Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Don was a son of the late Edward Hammond and Margaret Aycoth Slack. He was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church. Don graduated Sharon High School in 1951 and was a veteran of the US Navy and US Air Force. He is survived by his brother Edward Slack and wife Phyllis of Douglasville, GA, three sisters Helen Sluder and husband Doug of Chester, Eddie Mae Johnson of Greenwood, Margaret Claiborne of Columbia, sister in law Catherine Slack of McConnells, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2011, from 5 – 7 PM at Olivet Presbyterian Church in McConnells.
