SHARON -- James Hemphill Russell, 83, of 4851 Lockhart Road passed away Monday, November 18, 2013, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Nunn officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
Jimmy was a son of the late Perry Russell and Elisabeth Bigham Russell. He was the widower of Helen Joann Boheler Russell. He was a member of Bullocks Creek Presbyterian Church and he was retired from farming.
He is survived by a sister Betty Robbins of Hickory Grove, two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his step mother Mattie Mae Whitesides.
