MCCONNELLS – James “Jim” Lucente, 76, of McConnells, SC passed away at home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church with Reverend Emily Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Philadelphia UMC Cemetery following the memorial service.
Born in Queens, NY, Jim was the son of the late James Lucente and Irene Vick Lucente. He was a Flight Instructor and a Transportation Supervisor for New York State Electric and Gas. Jim served in the US Navy and was a member at Philadelphia United Methodist Church.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Jean Marie Lucente Reen (Shawn) of York, SC, and Patricia Ann Lucente Penning of Portsmouth, VA, and his four grandchildren, Samuel, Sadie Mae, Brayden, and Daphne.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Geraldine Lehrer Lucente.
