James "Bo" Barnwell

James Samuel "Bo" Barnwell, 90, of York passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 2pm on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Bratton Funeral Home in York with Reverend John Muse officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the funeral home from 1-2pm.
Bo was the son of the late Miles and Mattie Belle Barnwell and was the widower of Lillian Jane Stewart Barnwell. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in York and was retired from Rock Hill Printing and Finishing. Bo was a veteran of the US Navy where he served as an Aviation Radio Man in World War II and as a Cryptologic Communications Technician in the Korean War.
Bo is survived by his daughters, Stewart Ann Dragner, Vickie Barnwell Johnson (David), Lisa Barnwell Baker, son, James A. "Tony" Barnwell, grandchildren, Katie Dragner Wood (Andy), Louis J. Dragner (Katharine), great-grandchildren, Lillyann Wood, Kinleigh Wood, Barnes Dragner and Ward Dragner.
