James (Jim) Turner

Mr. James Palmer Turner, 78, of York quietly went home to God on July 5, 2017 at Piedmont Medical Center.
Mr. Turner was born February 14, 1939 to the late Palmer and Lottie Teaster Turner.
Surviving are his sister, Barbara Propst (Rodney) and brother in law, James W. Dover (husband of his late sister, Gloria). Mr. Turner had eight nieces and one nephew and numerous great grandnieces and great grandnephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Reed Turner and his last late companion, Joyce Bolin.
The family will receive friends at Bratton Funeral Home on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 1-2 PM. The funeral service will be at Bratton Funeral Home on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2 PM with Rev. Chris Ballard officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in York.
