Izara Plexico
YORK – Mrs. Izara Garrison Plexico, age 100, died Sunday, January 17, 2016 at White Oak Manor of Lancaster. She was the wife of the late William Lonnie “Boots” Plexico, Jr. She was born on June 13, 1915 in Gastonia, NC the daughter of the late Carl Beatty Garrison and Iva Lillie Adams Garrison.
Mrs. Plexico led a Godly life who read her bible daily. She cared for people always helping them anyway she could. She loved her family and was most happy when she was with them. She was a florist who owned the Blossom Shop in York, SC for 22 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of York.
Mrs. Plexico was preceded in death by her son Donald Carl Plexico. She is survived by son William Lonnie Plexico, III and wife Betty of Fair Oaks, California, a daughter Frances P. Harris and husband Larry of Lancaster, SC, daughter-in-law Joyce Plexico of York, SC, brother Marshall Garrison of Rock Hill, SC, and sister Bernice Hensley of Rock Hill, SC. Mrs. Plexico is also survived by her grandchildren, Tonda Rice, Donna Farris, Diane Caudle, Sherrie Caudle, Pat Plexico, and Linda Plexico, and her great grandchildren, Baileigh Rice, Ladd Jackson, Carleigh Jackson, Gregory Caudle, Kate Plexico, and Reinhart Plexico.
The celebration of life service for Mrs. Plexico will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Bratton Funeral Home in York, SC. The service will be conducted by the Rev. John Muse. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in York. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 10-11 AM at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
