Jean Garrison SHELBY Imogene "Jean" Alexander Garrison, 68, of Buck Ford Road died Saturday, February 25, 2012, peacefully at her home in Shelby. Born August 17, 1943, Jean was a daughter of the late Cecil and Lucy Crawford Alexander. She was also preceded in death by brother John Robert Alexander. She is survived by two sons, Howard Garrison, Jr. (Donna Jo), of York, Scott Garrison (Donna Faye) of McConnells, SC, four grandchildren, Jennifer Garrison Smith, Matthew Garrison, Tonya Nivens Amick, Casey Jean Garrison, companion Rufus Steadman of Shelby, sister Midge Alexander White of Cherryville, NC, and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Wednesday, February, 29, 2012 from 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Jean asked that donations be made to a Meal - On - Wheels of your choice.
