Willie Edwards, Jr. will officiate and burial will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery, East Mary Street. Mrs. Ida Mae Linder (a.k.a.) known as “Shug”, was born January 1, 1917 in Dublin, Georgia to the parents of the late Iverson Glover Sr. and Mary Glover. She departed this life on March 15, 2017. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at the tender age of nine. She was baptized and became a member of the Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church of Wrightsville, Georgia. She graduated from Oconee High School in Dublin, Ga. Always attending and visiting many churches over the years, she was re-baptized in 2005 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Miami Gardens, Florida. Shug’s later united with the Keys To Life Church under the leadership of Pastor Arthor Jackson, where she remained a faithful member until her demise. She was a mother to so many, and was well known for her fried chicken and collard greens. She was also preceded in death by five brothers: the late Robert, Iverson, Prentice, James, and Grady Glover; four sisters: Lucy Mae Davis, Lela Mae Glover, Mary Eliza Jane Glover, and Minnie Louise Hall. Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memories are three loving daughters she raised, Amanda Linder, Vershawn Joyner, and Andrea Glover as she quite often say “Her Gals”; nephew Jackie Watkins of Miami, Florida; grandson Keanon Tyson; her brother-in-law Leroy C. Hall of Richmond Heights, Florida; sister-in-law Irene Glover; favorite nieces Abbie Gail Glover, Letha Mae White, Sonja Felita Hall-Taylor, and a special niece Patricia Ann Little of Macon, Georgia. Her favorite nephews, Clarence Glover of Miami, Florida, James L. Davis of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Willie L. Davis of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. God daughters Sylvia Farrington of Miami, Florida, Thajuana Pasely of Tallahassee Florida, Demetria, Cameron, and Jecenia Gould of Miami, Florida, Lolita McQueen of Miami, Florida; God sons Isaiah, Travis, and Michael Gould of Miami, Florida, and in the recent years she adopted Carol Jones- Jones Stafford of Miami, Florida. Special loved ones Eva P. Wright, Martha Ann Glover-Rolle (Sherman), and Muriel Grant. Local arrangements entrusted to Wyche’s Funeral Home. (www.wychesfuneralhomeinc.com)
