YORK -- Howard Ernest Horne, 91, of 3585 Hands Mill Hwy, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at White Oak Manor in York.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Mill Creek Church of the Brethren in Tryon, NC, with Pastor Debbie Horne Dyches officiating. Burial will be at Mill Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Bratton Funeral Home from 6 - 8 PM.
Howard was a son of the late Ladson E. Horne and Hattie Sims Horne. He was the widower of Nellie Haney Horne.
He is survived by daughter Vonda Horne Jackson (Lee) of York, SC, son Ernie Horne of York, SC, daughter-in-law Mary Horne of Lake Wylie, SC, grandson Justin Ernest Horne of North Augusta, SC, sister Betty Bailey of Rutherfordton, NC, brothers, Vernon Horne of Tryon, NC, Kenneth Horne of Tryon, NC, Laddie Horne of Landrum, SC, and special friend Barbara Miskelly of York, SC.
