Homer Bennefield York, SC – Mr. Homer C. “Tootie” Bennefield, Jr., 62 of 303 Simrill Ave, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. A native of York, Homer is survived by his parents, Homer and Janet Bennefield, Sr. of York, two sons, Aaron C. Bennefield and wife Echo of McConnells, Jason R. Bennefield of the home, two sisters, Nancy B. Ligon and husband Jeff of York, Lisa B. Shillinglaw and husband Jimmy of Sharon, two grandsons, Jacob and Jordan Bennefield, two nephews Matt and Hunter Ligon, and long time companion Linda Reidell of Rock Hill. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the home of sister Nancy B. Ligon, 1874 Rain Forest Dr., York, SC. Graveside services will be private.
