Henry Ray Teigue
McConnells – Henry Ray Teigue, 77, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Bratton Funeral Home in York with the Revs. Jason Garner and James Garner officiating. Burial will be held at Olivet Presbyterian Church Cemetery in McConnells. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 6 – 7:30 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
He was born on February 16, 1936 to the late Fred and Carrie Harrison Teigue. Mr. Teigue served in the US Marine Corp. for over 9 years. He was a member of the York Church of God, and loved Jesus. He taught Sunday school and ministered to young and old at the church. He had a prison ministry at the Moss Justice Center in York, and also had a shut-in and nursing home ministry. He loved to witness about Jesus.
He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver, Mildred McFalls Teigue of McConnells, whom he married on October 14, 1955 and his devoted children, his daughters, Ginger T. Barnhill and husband Johnny, Denise T. Martin and husband Gene, Michal T. Craft and husband Chris, his son, William Brian Teigue and wife Sherry, and sister, Syble T. Robinson. He will be greatly missed by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
