YORK -- Helen Moore Scott, 88, of York passed away Monday, September 15, 2014, at her home in York.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ed Jillson and Rev. Wallace Tinsley officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 10 - 11 AM at First Presbyterian Church.
A native of York, Helen was a daughter of the late William Sadler Moore and Frances Adickes Moore. She was the widow of Robert Bolivar Scott, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church
She is survived by daughter Frances Scott of York, SC, sons, Robert Scott (Lynda) of Edmonton, Canada, Allen Scott (Joanni) of Maple Valley, WA, and William Scott of York, SC, grandchildren, Helene Neely (Mark), Phil Hamer (Emilia), Robert Hamer, Lisa Scott, Paul Scott, Scott Melton, great grandchildren, Sarah Lewis, Will Neely, Aelwen Hamer, Arthur Hamer, Lauren Melton, Geoffrey Melton, and great great grandchild Carter Lewis.
