Helen McDaniel Hudson, 94 of York, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
The funeral service will be at 4PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Beersheba Presbyterian Church. The burial will be at the church cemetery following the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 3-4PM on Tuesday in the church sanctuary.
Born in York, Helen was the daughter of the late Otho McDaniel and Margaret Wood McDaniel. She worked as Dietician for Divine Saviour Hospital.
Helen is survived by her sons, Larry S. Hudson (Ruth) of Sharon, William O. Hudson (Nancy) of York, Bryan W. Hudson (Pauline) of Blacksburg, brother-in-law, Charles Hudson of York, sisters-in-law, Betty Lowman of York, Annie Mae McDaniel of Clover, fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Steele Hudson, son, Harold M. Hudson, and brother, Otho McDaniel.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Beersheba Presbyterian Church Cemetery Association at 130 S. Beersheba Rd. Clover, SC 29710 or to a charity of one’s choice.
