Helen Stewart Beckham, 87, of York, SC passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Bright Light Free Will Baptist Church in York, SC with the Reverend Adam Laster officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Helen was born on September 2, 1933 in Gaffney, SC. She was the daughter of the late Sidney Stewart and Leola Hambright Stewart. She worked in the Cannon Mills and was a devoted member of Bright Light Free Will Baptist Church.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Debbie Wilson (Mike), son, Roy Beckham (Rebecca), brothers, Sidney Stewart, Jr. (Joan), Jesse Stewart, sisters, Margaret Medlin, Barbara Brittain (Morris), six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her son, Roger Clontz, and five brothers: Eugene Stewart, Elton Stewart, Harold Stewart, Robert Stewart, and Ralph Stewart.
