YORK-Harvey Ray Summerlin, 75, of York, SC passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC with Reverend David Carter and Rev. James Locklair officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Harvey was born June 2, 1945 in Seven Springs, NC to the late Harvey Lawton Summerlin and Effie Register Summerlin. He was retired and attended Unity at Calvary Church of God in Rock Hill, SC
Harvey is survived by his wife, Barbara Dover Summerlin, children, Michael, Patricia, and Terri Summerlin of NC, Michael, Billie Ann, and Stephen Summerlin of TN, Jennifer and Avery Dover of SC, brothers, Jimmy Summerlin (Kathy), Johnny Summerlin (Belinda), sisters, Sally Barnett (John), Shelby Blizzard (Donald), Donnie Moore (Thomas), his ex-spouse, Diane Summerlin, and numerous grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Carter, Kathy Davis, brothers, Linwood (Tunk) Summerlin, and Ronnie Summerlin.
