CLOVER -- Gilbert "Gil" Karl Buddenbaum, Sr., 85, of Clover passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Agape Rehabilitation in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at First Wesleyan Church in York with Dr. Forbis Kivett officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 - 2 PM at First Wesleyan Church.
Gil was born July 22, 1930 in Yorktown, NY to the late Fred H. and Elsie Gilbert Buddenbaum. He served four years in the United States Air Force, and was a 1959 graduate of Indiana Technical College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Gil was a retired electrical engineer and business owner, was a Mason, and was an avid outdoorsman. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by wife Julia Herring Buddenbaum of Clover, SC, son G. Karl Buddenbaum, Jr. of Harrisburg, NC, daughter Ruth B. Hubner of Midway, GA, niece Barbara Konetzni of Greenville, SC, and four grandchildren.
