Gertrude Cranford ROCK HILL Gertrude Montgomery Cranford, 83, formerly of Bullock Creek, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at her home in Rock Hill. The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church. Revs. Arnold Johnson and Craig Marshall will be officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York. Mrs. Cranford was a daughter of the late Samuel and Cleo Sanders Montgomery. She was a retired bookkeeper after 50 years service at M. Lowenstein and Springs Global, a member of Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church, and was the widow of Robert Cranford. She is survived by daughters, Trudy Mattox (Frank) of Hickory Grove, SC, and Mary Harley (Roger) of Mt Pleasant, SC, two grandchildren, Beth Harley Payne (Andrew), Rachel Harley Craft, four great grandchildren, Destiny and Jordan Craft, Sayle and Forest Payne, and niece Johnnie Robinson. She was preceded in death by grandson, Bobby Bolin. The family of Mrs. Cranford would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Hospice Care of South Carolina, and to her caregivers, Martha Carter, Olivia Johnson, Beverly Harrison, and Daisy McClurkin.
