Georgette Shirley Johnson Royer, 85, of York, SC passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at Eastview Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
Born in Bellefonte, PA, Georgette was the daughter of the late George C. Johnson and Mary Margaret Taylor Johnson. She played the organ at Eastview Baptist Church, where she attended services.
Georgette is survived by her son, Douglas Royer and his wife, Kay of York, SC, grandchildren, David Edward Royer, Jennifer Lynne Stout (husband James), Curt Douglas Royer (wife Cassie), four great grandchildren, and four step-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Georgette was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Edward Royer, and sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Williams.
Memorials may be made to Eastview Baptist Church at 1430 Gordon Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732.
