CLOVER – Mr. Gary Dean Smith, 68, of 2729 Boheler Rd., passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Bratton Funeral Home in York with Rev. officiating. The burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 -11 AM at Bratton Funeral Home.
Gary was a son of the late Woodrow Wilson Smith and Anna Belle Rocket Smith. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was the widower of Charlotte “Gaye” Smith.
He is survived by daughter, Katrie Smith Christopher, step daughters, Roxanne Falls (Tim Davis), Jeannine Dubreuil (Dean Hardy), step sons, Brent Childers (Stephanie), and Joseph Dubreuil, grandchildren, Zoe Christopher and Taylor Christopher, step grandchildren, Lizabeth Falls, Forest Falls, Ben Falls, Natalie Childers, Regan Childers, Mary Childers, Michael Marshburn, and Zander Dubreuil. Gary is also survived by his brother David Smith and sister Sandra Smith.
