Gary Dwyer Norman, 72, of Clover, SC passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 peacefully at his home and surrounded by his loved ones.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Smyrna Baptist Church in Smyrna, SC with the Reverend Mike Thompson officiating.
Gary was born on September 30, 1948 in Gaffney, SC. He was the son of the late Walter Norman, Sr. and Irene Keener Norman. Gary was a man of many traits. He was an ordained minister and worked as a carpenter. He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Glenda Boheler Norman, son, Todd Norman, step children, Bobby Martin, Jr., Shannon Falls, brothers, Carroll Norman (Gail), David Norman (Sissy), sisters, Frances Allen, Wanda Martin, Anita Boggs (Allen), grandchildren; Brentley Norman, Timothy Norman, Kristin Walker, Bobby Lee Martin, Cody Martin, and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his son, Brent Norman, and his siblings; Juanita Norman, Walter Norman, Jr., Paul Norman, Nancy Thompson, Steve Norman, Keith Norman, and Ronnie Norman.
