Gary Frye
CLOVER -- Gary William Frye, 65, of 2068 Knox Road passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy McFalls and Rev. Thomas Whray officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery in Clover. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 20, 2014 at Midway Baptist Church from 6 - 8 PM.
Gary was a son of the late James Frye and Lola Mauney Frye. He attended Midway Baptist Church, and was a veteran of the United States Marines, serving two tours during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by wife, Martha Adams Frye of Clover, SC, son, Gary David Frye of Mrytle Beach, SC, daughter, Melissa Dawn Frye of Clover, SC, brother, Jim Frye (Jean) of Gastonia, granddaughters, Megan Frye, Madison Ham, Madisun Eakin, Shay McCumbers, and Cloe Jenkins, and grandsons, Gage Frye, Brock Hoover, Miller Eakin, and Ean Boersma. Gary was is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews and the one and only Aunt Mary Ellen. He was preceded in death by his sister Jean Stone.
