CLOVER -- Gary Dean Dover, 65, of Clover passed away Monday, December 28, 2015, at his home in Clover.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, NC with Dr. J Barry Goodman officiating. Burial will be at Cook Memorial Gardens in Shelby, NC. The family will receive friends at Faith Baptist Church in Shelby from 12:30 - 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015.
Gary was a son of the late James Emmett "Luke" Dover and Ella Mae Hamrick Dover. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Shelby and was retired from Ehtan Allen Furniture in Maiden, NC.
He is survived by wife Debbie Wray Dover of Clover, SC, son Gary Christopher "Chris" Dover of Blacksburg, SC, daughters, Sharon Dover King of Shelby, NC, Dawn B. Cruz of Clover, SC, Jessica Dover Jordan of York, SC, brother Eddie Dover of Blacksburg, sister Ann Dover Spake of Blacksburg, and 10 grandchildren. In addition to his parents Gary was preceded in death by his brother Sherrill Dover.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 2738 S. Post Road, Shelby, NC 28152.
