Furman Jackson Faile, Jr. “Jack” 89, of Clover, SC passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 12, 2020.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Liberty Church in York, SC. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
Jack was born on September 22, 1931 in Kershaw, SC. He was the son of the late Furman Jackson Faile, Sr. and Vivian Hinson Faile. He was a member of Liberty Church and was a decorated Korean War veteran having served as a Corpsman in the US NAVY.
He was not just a hero in the military, but also in the hearts of his family members and many friends he had the great pleasure of knowing. His legacy extends far beyond his footsteps, as echoes through the many lives he has touched! Truly, he is loved by all who knew him.
Jack is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marsha Livingood Faile, children; Robert Faile, Jim Faile (Kim), Tammy Williams (Leon), Steve Faile (Rena), Ken Faile, Butch Faile (Samantha), and Tyler Faile (Summer), brother, Kenneth Faile (Mary Ester), nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Meadows and Marion Faulkenberry.
