Founded in 1921 and owner-operated since 1988 by Gerald R. Boyce, II, a Gupton-Jones College graduate who designed and built the current 14,000 square-foot facility on four acres that opened in March 1994.

Ross Funeral Home has operated continuously from Fairmont Avenue since 1941 and is housed in the historic J.E. Watson mansion known as High Gate, which was purchased by founder Daniel C. Ross in the mid-1950s.

Reger Funeral Home has been operated by the same family for five generations since its founding in 1903, and has maintained its current location on Adams Avenue for over 100 years.
