The Wilson Family has operated continuously since 1898 and recently consolidated multiple acquired funeral homes (Harper, Patron, Kelly Kemp Braido Chapel, and Heslop Chapel) under the Wilson Funeral Home name.

Founded in 1983 when Dave Marsh purchased the former Holcomb Funeral Home where he had apprenticed, the business expanded to three locations across Wood County by 2004. Dave Marsh began working in funeral service in 1972 and works alongside his wife Fran, also a licensed funeral director.
