Joyner's Funeral Home traces its origins to a furniture store that provided funeral services in the 1920s, and has remained family-owned and independent for nearly a century. The business was renamed and relocated to Pine Street in 1933 by Joseph Clinton Joyner and his wife Catherine Amerson Joyner.
