Funeral Homes in Staten Island, NY

McHoul Funeral Home was established in 1963 by Augustus J. Thomes in a 1911 Sears-Roebuck catalogue house on Route 82, becoming Hopewell Junction's first funeral home. The firm maintains a Veteran's Memorial Wall and is entirely staffed by licensed funeral directors from the immediate family.

Cleveland Funeral Home operates a secondary business, Cleveland Services Medical Transport Company, and has maintained continuous service to the Chaumont, Watertown, and Cape Vincent areas since its original founding.

Founded in 1955 by Darwin Gilmartin, the funeral home has been led by two successive Simmons School of Mortuary Science graduates from the family, with current managing funeral director TJ Woodward maintaining continuity after the 2023 transition to new ownership.
