Funeral Homes in Penn Yan, NY

Heintz Funeral Service celebrates 110 years as the oldest family-owned funeral home in the Utica area, now in its fourth generation of family ownership with deep historical roots in a community known for Erie Canal heritage.

James A. Menter Funeral Home operates as an alternative funeral service provider with a lower-cost business model, featuring a smaller chapel and recommending larger services be held at family places of worship while still providing full funeral directing services.

The Rome location offers an innovative 'Ask the Director' feature allowing families to submit questions at any time, and provides interactive online tributes with virtual candles and photo sharing for remote mourners.
