Walter Johnson Funeral Home operates as part of a network of three affiliated funeral homes (Werson and Sullivan) with each maintaining independent contact lines for immediate family assistance.

Founded in 1913 by Charles E. Dooley, the funeral home has been operated by four generations of the Dooley family and expanded to Westfield in 1956. Executive Director Laura Mann actively volunteers with Imagine, a grief support organization serving children, teens, and families.

Manager Robert C. Riggs has been deeply involved in the Forked River community, serving as president of the Forked River Volunteer Fire Department and previously on the Lacey Board of Education. The funeral home partners with organizations to offer memorial tree planting programs in areas of environmental need.
