Founded by Don and Edla Bodelson in 1960, the funeral home was acquired by John Mahn in 1986 and strategically expanded throughout the 1990s through acquisitions of three additional funeral home locations, creating a multi-location operation serving Goodhue County.

The Dingmann Family has been providing funeral services in Minnesota for over a century, with five generations of family members continuing the tradition that began when John Dingmann started serving families in Clear Lake in the early 1900s.

Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel operates from a historic 1884 brick building that originally served as North School for School District No. 61, giving it a unique educational heritage before becoming a funeral home.
