The Mahn family rapidly expanded from a single location to six locations across multiple counties throughout the 1990s, acquiring three separate funeral homes and constructing a new facility in Zumbrota.

Founded by Don and Edla Bodelson in 1960, the funeral home was acquired by John Mahn in 1986 and strategically expanded throughout the 1990s through acquisitions of three additional funeral home locations, creating a multi-location operation serving Goodhue County.

The Dingmann family has been in the funeral service business for over 120 years across five generations, beginning when John Dingmann started serving families in Clear Lake in the early 1900s.
