Tom is a fourth-generation funeral director with more than 30 years of licensure and previously owned Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home and Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory, both in Okeechobee. His son Tommy is a fifth generation funeral director, and several of Tom's other children—Patrick, Kaela, Brenna, and Tori—also work in various roles at the family's funeral homes.
The facility operates an on-site crematory. Tom is married to Lisa and they have seven children, maintaining a multi-generational family business serving Port Saint Lucie and Saint Lucie County.
