About Westcott Funeral Home of Cottonwood
Westcott Funeral Home was founded in 1948 by Howard Westcott and his wife LaVerne, who operated the original Cottonwood Funeral Chapel at the same location for 38 years. Howard served an apprenticeship at a Jerome funeral home and worked in Phoenix before returning to establish the business in the Verde Valley. The funeral home remains family-operated and has served Cottonwood, Camp Verde, and surrounding areas for over 75 years.
The facility and staffing structure were updated in recent years to expand service capabilities. The funeral home provides tribute video services to create lasting memorial presentations for families.
