W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home has served Branford families since 1976. President Jeffrey S. Klarman has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1982 and oversees operations alongside Vice President John P. Klarman, who has held his funeral director license since 1989.

Jeffrey Klarman is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner and 1979 graduate of Branford High School who completed his funeral service education at New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in 1981. He has served as president of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association and maintains memberships in the Greater New Haven Funeral Directors Association, the National Funeral Directors Association, and the International Order of the Golden Rule. Both directors have deep roots in the Branford community through involvement with local organizations including the Knights of Columbus Eldorado Council 10 and the Branford Chamber of Commerce.
