About Usrey Funeral Home
Ralph Usrey founded the firm in 1927 in Talladega. Marshall L. Colvard purchased it after World War II and operated in partnership with Kizer Leonard from 1945 to 1970. Bill Perry bought into the business in 1970, and his sons Mike and Steve Perry, both Auburn University graduates, joined in 1994 and 2003 respectively, marking three generations of ownership.
The Perry brothers later acquired this Pell City location, bringing the Usrey name and service model to St. Clair County. The funeral home features large chapels and handicapped accessible facilities. Staff members honor Brown Service Burial policies, a benefit few providers in Alabama accept.
The firm owns and operates Pine Hill Memorial Park and St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Funeral directors maintain 24-hour availability throughout the community and provide personalized veteran care for military families and their dependents.
