Tucker Funeral Home was founded in Bremen in 1909 by Jesse B. Tucker, who traveled by horse-drawn carriage to serve families throughout the region. His sons Norman and George later established the current Central City location, and the business expanded with a Sacramento chapel in 1959 and a Beechmont chapel in 1969.
Five generations of the Tucker family have operated the funeral home. Owner Joe Ben Tucker has been a licensed funeral director for 60 years and continues to manage the business alongside family members including grandson Colby Joe Carver. Staff members Tim Tucker and Colby Joe Carver carry on the family's tradition of service.
The funeral home provides burial and cremation services across Muhlenberg County and the surrounding Western Kentucky area, including Central City, Sacramento, and Beechmont. Pre-planning services are available for families who wish to document their arrangements in advance.
