About Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home
Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home traces its Frackville roots to 1947, when Robert F. Hoppes established the original funeral home; Thomas M. Sullivan purchased the business in 1976. In August 2013, Sullivan acquired the McDonald Funeral Home in Girardville, a business the McDonald family had run for over 100 years, bringing both locations under the Sullivan name with Timothy M. Sullivan serving as Supervisor.
Now in its third generation of family ownership, the funeral home serves Frackville, Girardville, and the surrounding towns of Northern Schuylkill County, including Ashland and Coal Township. Families can choose from traditional funeral services with viewings, memorial services, or cremation, with planning available for burial or cremation arrangements.
