Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home traces its origins to multiple Carroll County funeral establishments dating back to the 1940s. The current business formed through a series of mergers: Gerald Eckler purchased the Kipping Funeral Home around 1944, later merging with C.S. Tandy's firm in the mid-1950s to create Tandy & Eckler. In 1991, Rob Riley, a Carroll County native, acquired the Tandy-Eckler-Darnold operation and merged it with the former Gentry funeral business, consolidating operations at the Highland Avenue location in Carrollton.
