Lon Swedberg joined the staff in 1971 after growing up in his family's funeral home in Webster, Wisconsin, and by 1985 the Swedberg family had acquired full ownership. The Cecil facility underwent significant expansion in 1989 with the addition of a large chapel and wheelchair-accessible entrance.
