About Stegall Berheide Orr Funeral Home
Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral and Cremation Service has been family owned since 1924, now in its third generation under owner Matthew Stegall. The funeral home has served Richmond and the surrounding Wayne County area for a century.
The staff includes five licensed funeral directors: Matthew Stegall, Trent Rogers, Ashley A. Lapham (also a licensed embalmer), George Eastman, and Rev. Martin Holman who handles community outreach. Service assistants Michael Manning and Adam Griffin provide additional support to families.
The funeral home offers both traditional funeral services and various cremation options. They provide pre-planning resources and maintain office hours Monday through Friday, with limited Saturday availability and Sunday appointments.
