About Rhome Funeral Home
H. Denver Rhome established Rhome Funeral Home in 1948 after serving in the Navy during World War II, initially operating from 688 McKee Avenue before moving to the current Grand Boulevard location in 1969. The funeral home has remained family-owned and operated for three generations, with H. Denver's son David joining as a licensed funeral director in 1967, followed by grandsons Matthew in 1998 and Chris in 2000.
The Rhome family has served Monessen and the surrounding Westmoreland County area for over 75 years, maintaining the founder's philosophy of personal service built on trust. All faiths are welcomed at the funeral home, which continues to operate under the leadership of the second and third generations of the Rhome family.
