About Ravenna Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services
Ravenna Chapel continues a legacy that began 58 years ago as the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna, a family-owned operation serving the Ravenna area in Muskegon County. Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services took over the chapel and maintains its tradition as a family-oriented funeral home.
The chapel sits near Ravenna Cemetery, McNitt Cemetery, and Sullivan Township Cemetery, with ample on-site parking and a secluded, wooded setting. Families can arrange funeral, burial, and cremation services here, including witnessed cremation for those who wish to be present during the process.
Sytsema also provides bereavement resources and ongoing community programs for families after the funeral service concludes.
