Raisley Funeral Home has served Prospect and the surrounding Butler County area since 1900, when founder Gailey Glenn first opened the business at its current location. The funeral home has remained in continuous family ownership through five generations, passing from Glenn to his nephew Robert Glenn in 1911, then to Mark C. Glenn in 1922, followed by George D. Pyle, Edward L. Raisley in 1965, and currently operated by Keri Raisley, a licensed funeral director who joined the business in 1995 after graduating from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.
Keri Raisley is a Slippery Rock High School alumna who became a licensed funeral director and partnered with her mother Judy Raisley to continue the family tradition. The funeral home provides assistance with veterans benefits, Social Security paperwork, and insurance claims as part of their service coordination.
