Randy Porter joined his father in 1972 after graduating from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science, and Ric Porter followed in 1983 as a graduate of the same institution. The firm operates multiple locations serving Hudson and Lincoln County, as well as Hawarden, Ireton, Rock Valley, and Inwood across the state line in Iowa. Ric Porter and his wife Cynthia are based in Hawarden, overseeing operations with their staff across all five funeral home locations.
